Sam Bailey - Hello Magazine Photo Shoot

I was asked to do Sam Bailey's nails (X Factor 2013 winner), for a photo shoot for Hello Magazine.
Sam already had acrylic extensions on which I had to infill and I painted her finger and toe nails in a nude colour to compliment her many wardrobe changes for the shoot.

ArtzeeNailz Tips

Always use a base coat to stop the nail varnish from staining your nails and a top coat to prevent the nail varnish from chipping.
If you have a couple of chips on your nails & don't have enough time to re-polish your nails, go over the chip with the nail colour and then add a clear top coat.
If you're not very neat when applying nail varnish and get more on your skin rather than your nails! The next day after you have painted your nails, wash your hands & scrub with a "soaped up" nail brush.
If your polished nails are looking a bit tired; add one coat of top coat to freshen up your nails for another couple of days.
If your right-handed and have trouble painting your nails on your right hand; try moving your hand instead of the brush.
During the summer or when on holiday in a hot country, keep your nail varnish in the fridge to stop it from thickening up.
To thin out nail varnish which has thickened up (due to hot weather or being left open for too long), add a few drops of nail polish remover to get it back to its thinner consistency.
Removing glitter nail polish can be a nightmare, the easiest way to do this is by soaking a cotton pad in nail polish remover, wrapping the cotton pad around the nail then wrapping foil over the cotton pad and leave for about 5 minutes.

Sick of your nail polish chipping after a couple of days? Why not try a gel polish...it will last for a minimum of two weeks :)
